New Project Assistant wanted

This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to work in a vibrant, creative environment. The initial primary focus would be on supporting the lead project manager. Knowledge of the building industry is advantageous but not necessary. Excellent organisational and communication skills are a must.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Coordinate and communicate with sub-contractors, quantity surveyors, architects, engineers and suppliers
- Source materials, get quotes, place orders and organise deliveries
- Create and maintain building schedules and co-ordinate all involved reporting back to project manager
- Collate information for proposals and tenders
- Act as a point of contact and assist with the smooth running of each project
- Build a database of sub-contractors and suppliers and build relationships with them
- Create weekly reports for clients and management
- Carry out administrative duties
- Update nest news, case studies, website and social media platforms
Essential skills
- Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines and managing a high workload with conflicting priorities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using word processing programs and spreadsheets
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to present information concisely
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and manage a range of relationships
- Ability to think proactively and prioritise workloads with minimum supervision
Preferred skills
- Knowledge of project management software (training can be provided)
- Knowledge of Apple based software and Apple computers (training can be provided)
- Experience and understanding of social media communications
